The serene foothills of the majestic Himalayas witnessed the initiation of a small clinic named "National Skin Clinic", which would, in the coming years, take the world by a storm. This humble beginning in the small town of Rishikesh in Uttarakhand, India was the first step into the many leaps and bounds by which this clinic would grow and eventually evolve into a giant in the cosmetic surgical industry within just a decade. Two hopeful Doctors - Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal were founders of this inevitable organisation spanning the length and breath of Mother India and beyond.
Equipped with MD Dermatology degrees from the collosal institute AIIMS Delhi, these young doctors soon tasted success with people from all around the region -Dehradun, Haridwar, Bareily, etc. starting to crowd their clinic. They were becoming well known for accurate diagnosis, ethical practices, minimal or zero investigations, minimum medications and most of all their passion for their craft. It was only expected for many senior doctors and others to refer patients to the National Skin Clinic thereafter, paving the way for it to add on other specialities such as dermatosurgery, vitiligo treatment, laser hair removal, tattoo removal, teledermatology, etc.
Their philanthropic work ran simultaneously with their professional commitments as they conducted free camps almost every month in the remote and underprivileged areas of the hills in an effort to give back to the society with their hard earned skills. By the year 2009, a second branch was inaugurated at the capital city of Uttarakhand. This meant that by July, 2009 National Skin Clinic started functioning in Dehradun also. The 28th of February, 2010 saw the advent of the first hair transplantation procedure by the founding doctors. From thereon, the journey has only been but revolutionizing!
